Chris McMunn is the founder and principal of Cars on Credit. With over 25 years of automotive retail and lending experience Chris recognized the opportunity in the high risk lending industry 20 years ago when he managed numerous prime and subprime portfolios. Five years ago he created the Cars on Credit business model to serve the dealer network in Ontario. With extensive management skills in multiple franchise dealer organizations and a wealth of knowledge in the finance arena Chris' experience and network has given way to a ten million dollar portfolio with Cars on Credit.

Christie Groom - Vice President - Sales and Marketing

Christie Groom has brings forth 10 years of experience in the Automotive Finance industry. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as AmeriCredit Financial Services, Adesa Remarketing Services and Wells Fargo Automotive Finance. Christie went on to design and develop a training and consulting company in the automotive industry and has acted as a Director of Operations in the retail sector. Christie joined Cars on Credit in 2011 as the Vice President of Sales Marketing and is directly accountable for the continued growth and development of the business. She studied at the University of Western Ontario and achieved and Honors degree in Sociology.

Julie McMunn - Controller

Julie McMunn is the financial backbone to Cars on Credit. Julie has been working in the automotive industry for 25 years and brings forth 15 years of accounting and controller experience. Julie manages all of the financial and reporting data for the company as well as being fully accountable for the integrity of the financial statements and sustainability of the portfolio.

Jolene Marriner - Operations Manager

Jolene Mariner joined Cars on Credit in 2009 and has been a fundamental part of the implementation, management and success of Cars on Credit. She has held business administrative, account management and asset management roles in the company. Jolene has 10 years of automotive training and sales experience. She is directly accountable for the performance of the portfolio as it relates to delinquency, charge offs and collections. As a senior member of the Cars on Credit team, Jolene is cross trained in numerous roles such as account management, acquisition and retention, funding, collections and adjudication.

Dieneen Lepp - Asset Manager

Dieneen brings forth a wealth of knowledge in Credit Management, Lending and Credit Granting. With over twenty years combined experience in the Pharmaceutical, Banking and Leasing industries, Dieneen's expertise in maintaining, managing and growing portfolios in the 10's of millions of dollars is an extraordinary asset to the Cars on Credit Team. She has also been involved in the process of six major acquisitions and mergers throughout her career, adding to her resilience, professionalism and expertise in the lending industry. Dieneen studied at Seneca College and graduated with a diploma in Law Enforcement and Security.

Karen Patel - Regional Sales Manager

Karen's combined background of business to business sales and her ten years of Automotive Retail experience provides Cars on Credit with a strong foundation of industry expertise. Karen's experience and ability to work with business owners as well as retail clients compliments the sales and marketing team and gives way to meeting and surpassing scheduled sales forecasts, contributing to a successful future. Karen has a passion for training and development inside the Automotive Industry and will provide our dealer partners with a wealth of knowledge and support to grow their used car departments.

Mike Liddle - Vice President

Mike Liddle has been colleagues with Chris McMunn for the last ten years. They partnered in 2007 to create Cars on Credit. With an education in Underwater Welding and Explosives Mike has travelled overseas to work on Oil rigs and Dive Ships. He Returned to Canada twenty years ago and has since been building his career in the Automotive Industry. He has extensive management and wholesale experience and works closely with the management team at Cars on Credit to manage and grow the portfolio.

Kris Jeppesen - Director

Kris is a shareholder in Cars on Credit and contributes a wealth of business acumen, knowledge and success. Kris is currently president and director of his family business Nordic Capital which specializes in sales, leasing and print management on a corporate level. He was nominated for Canada's top 30 under 30. Kris holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Business from the University of Western Ontario.

Clary Laftsidis - Director

Clary Laftsidis is a shareholder in Cars on Credit and brings forth 15 years experience in the automotive finance industry. He began his career in the United States as an Assistant Vice President of Consumer Finance Corporation. Clary later took an opportunity back in Canada with VFC as one of their national credit managers. He has held senior level management roles with Chrysler Financial and Wells Fargo Financial. Clary's most recent position was with HSBC Automotive Finance as an Assistant VP. Clary studied at the University of Windsor and attained a B.A. in Business Administration.

Ann Currie Funding and Resources Manager

Ann brings forth over 20 years of accounting, bookkeeping and funding experience to the Cars on Credit team. With a background in both Franchise and Independent dealerships accounting and administrative systems, she provides superior customer service, support and training to the Cars on Credit dealer partners during the funding process to ensure timely service. Ann joined the Cars on Credit team over a year ago and is solely responsible for the implementation of the centralized funding department.

Cynthia Parkhill - Office Manager

Cynthia has been an integral part of the Cars on Credit team, with 3.5 years as the office manager Cynthia manages the day to day administrative operations. With 26 years experience in administrative work and an education in business commerce Cynthia provides organization, direction and structure to the everyday business activities at Cars on Credit.

Chris Liddle - Information Technology Manager

Chris Liddle brings forth 30 years of IT solutions, consulting and management experience to the Cars on Credit team. His experience resides in computer servers, networks and data center operations. Chris has held positions ranging from computer technician through to Project Manager and has spent years in telephony support services as well. The combination of Chris's experience and skills sets provides Cars on Credit with a multifunctional IT Manager to support all of its technical operational needs.
